Description

Join 100 other youth - American, Palestinian, and Israeli - in North Carolina for a twelve day international camp experience in August 2018! Make new friends from around the world, deepen your understanding of religious identity, and explore the complexity of conflict while building skills to work for change in your communities.

Who: Students currently in 8th grade (as of 2017-2018 school year)

Where: Blue Star Camps, Hendersonville, NC

What:
- Deepen your understanding of religious traditions through educational sessions, conversation with peers, and observation of religious services.

- Explore the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and learn about the US Civil Rights Movement

- Deepen your skills as you work as a peace leader in your community

- Take part in lots of camp activities such as music, art, exploring nature, swimming, ropes courses, and more!

Priority reg deadline is Feb 15.

Continued rolling admission after that until camp is full!

Cost: $1,800 + transportation. $600 deposit due at registration. Balance due by April 1st. Scholarships available. Includes all meals, snacks, ground transportation, and program activities. Kosher and halal food is available.
