Participants must currently be in grades 9 to 10.
The Global Institute is Kids4Peace's signature program for high school youth from Jerusalem and across the USA. During ten intense days in Washington, DC, you'll connect with inspiring leaders, learn about critical issues in our world, and practice skills for advocacy and social change. The program culminates with an Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, where youth meet with House and Senate offices to promote legislation that will advance peace. Eligibility: Open to youth who are currently in 9th or 10th grade (2017-2018 school year)
Payment: $1,800 Tuition, plus the cost of transportation. Deposit of $600 due by February 1st. Balance due by April 1st. Scholarship assistance is available upon request at k4p.org/scholarship.
Transportation: You are responsible for arranging transportation to Washington, DC. Kids4Peace staff will provide arrival and departure times and instructions.
Logistics: Housing is provided in university dorms, and tuition includes all meals, snacks and program activities. Kosher and halal food is available.
